Research on the Role of Self-Efficacy in the Effect of Workplace Envy on Intention to Quit

The aim of this study is to examine the mediating role self-efficacy (SE) on relationship between workplace envy and intention quit. We expect that feelings will be among factors affecting quit are frequently discussed in Organizational Behavior (OB) literature. In addition, best our knowledge, effects SE leave have not been examined study, we fill gap literature by revealing possible from a behavioral perspective. conducted survey academics ten universities, randomly selected five different geographical regions Turkey. A total 237 working at both state foundation universities participated study. SmartPLS package program, which multi-level structural equation modeling (SEM) application, was used analysis data. As result analyses, find partially mediates results help researchers managers who interested subject understand manage envy.
